Instruction: Stream-table: Use the hand pumps to fill the two coloumns with water while keeping the tap closed. Now you can use the sand on the table to form a landscape at will. Afterwards, open the water tap and let the water flow through your landscape. How does the water change the landscape? Do you recognize patterns that you have seen in natural landscapes? Our stream-table can be seen as a model of a real river landscapes. However, you have to be a bit patient. The water will need some time to form the landscape.
